Is IGC a nonprofit organization?
Yes, IGC is a public benefit corporation exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3). Donors can deduct contributions they make to IGC under IRC Section 170. IGC is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers, and gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522. Our tax ID number is 92-0672083.

IGC is a small organization and every donation makes a big difference. Donations fund our work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase quality of life indicators in historically marginalized communities by:

• Increasing access to, and engagement in, local climate justice activities by removing barriers to information and opportunity.

• Building capacity to tackle the climate crisis by partnering to offer education and training opportunities.

IGC partners with Stripe to simplify donation processing.  We accept donations via credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other methods depending on your location.
