ENERGY EQUITY 101
This introductory course explores energy systems, environmental justice, and the role of equity in building a clean energy future. You will learn about energy flow, renewable and nonrenewable sources, energy efficiency, and conservation, while examining historical inequities and the importance of community engagement. The course also covers policy strategies for advancing energy equity and climate resilience. The course is ideal for anyone interested in sustainability, clean energy, environmental science, or public policy.
COMMUNITY CLEAN ENERGY MICROCREDENTIAL
You can take Energy Equity 101 on its own or as part of the 3-part Community Clean Energy Microcredential (CCEM).
OVERVIEW
Energy Equity 101 is a self-paced online course made up of 7 video lessons (15-30 minutes each) available for free on YouTube. To earn a certificate of completion, you must participate in the quiz version.
